The best place to railfan in the Scottsboro area is next to
the old Southern Railroad local dispatch office which is
located on North Broad St. in downtown Scottsboro AL ,
along Norfolk Southerns heavily traveled Chattanooga to
Memphis mainline.

North Broad St is located off of US Hwy 35 ( East Willow St)
in downtown Scottsboro

Scottsboro is located approximately 41 miles east of
Huntsville and approximately 64 miles west of Chattanooga
TN on US Hwy 72
